Who this applies to

This policy binds the firm that licenses Tallia and every authorised user it gives access to. A firm is responsible for the acts and omissions of its own authorised users, and for making sure they know these rules.

Accounts and credentials

  • Credentials are personal to the user they are issued to and must not be shared, transferred, or used by anyone else. Each set of credentials is one seat.
  • A firm must keep its users’ credentials secure and tell us promptly if it believes any have been compromised, or if a user should no longer have access.
  • Access is granted for the firm’s own internal business operations. It may not be resold, sublicensed, or made available to a third party.

Prohibited uses

You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

  • Make the platform available to third parties, or resell, rent, lease, or sublicense it.
  • Use the platform to build, market, or distribute a product or service that competes with it or replicates its features.
  • Carry out competitive analysis or benchmarking of the platform.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform, except so far as applicable law unavoidably permits for interoperability.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the platform, except as the agreement expressly allows.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, copy-protection, or rate-limiting features.
  • Introduce malicious code of any kind, or anything designed to disrupt, disable, or impair the platform or any system, data, or file we or a third party control.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any trade mark, copyright, or other proprietary notice.
  • Take any action adverse to our ownership of the technology behind the platform.

Content you submit

You must have the rights, consents, and authority needed to put your content into the platform and to have us process it as the agreement describes. Do not submit content you are not entitled to share - including material subject to a confidentiality obligation or a client engagement term that forbids it.

The platform is built for UK tax research and drafting. It is not a general-purpose assistant, and it should not be used to process categories of personal data that your own risk assessment has not covered.

Acting on answers

You must not use anything the platform produces to take action - including giving tax, accounting, financial, or any other regulated advice - without appropriate prior human review, consistent with good industry practice and with the legal, regulatory, and professional standards that apply to you. Our AI use policy explains why this matters and what good review looks like.

Enforcement

Breach of this policy is a material breach of the subscription agreement. Where we reasonably believe a breach is happening we may suspend the access concerned, and we will tell the firm promptly and work with it to resolve the cause. Repeated or unresolved breach may lead to termination under the agreement.
